Sabrina Caramanico was born in a town nestled in the mountains of Abruzzo.
At the age of 22 decides to leave her geology studies and fully dedicate herself to photography as self-taught.
In 2010 she is shortlisted at the Sony World Photography Awards and in 2013 she is selected by the agency Photo Boite for 30under30-WomenPhotographer, in the same year she wins the Nikon Talents Award for portrait category.
Her photographs have been published in magazines such as Black and White Magazine, FotoCult and she has receveid several awards at Black and White Awards, IPA and MasterCup.
Her photographs are projections of dreams that evoke distorted and dreamlike atmospheres.
She has been fascinated by what’s weird and unusual.
